answers2: There are dozens of art-related majors that you could take
in college, which don't necessarily have to be in the fine arts. Just
a few of them are Art History, Ceramics, Sculpture, Interior Design,
Film Studies, and Dance. There are also plenty of practical jobs in
the art industry including interior designer, museum curator, museum
technician, composer, art director, landscape architect, print maker,
illustrator (for books, mainly children's), choreographer, floral
designer (also consider bridal consulting), cartoonist, industrial
designer, and drafter. Remember to keep your options open for now and
explore your interests. Also remember that you don't have to declare a
college major until the end of your sophomore year IN college! You
have a long time to decide. And I don't know about you, but I'd always
rather be poor and happy than rich and miserable :)
