being taught because many might not agree. And the government tries to
tell us what we can and can't teach/learn. So the chances of it
happening are unlikely.

because most parents will think it's a waste of time. Instead, high
school should require courses in critical thinking skills, analysis,
rhetoric and argument, ethics, and inductive reasoning. They should
be required in high school. Too many students arrive at college
unprepared to think clearly. <br>

High schools should avoid naming courses philosophy, logic, or
metaphysics because parents who are afraid of philosophy will think
those courses are not a proper part of a curriculum. There is a
wide-spread bias against philosophy among the ignorant because it is
so often associated with sophistry and trickery. Those parents who
know what philosophy is will be glad their children are learning
thinking skills.
