Kandi Lough: Saturate the stain with WD40 and leave 20 minutesDab using a dry white cloth then use warm soapy water If the stain persists pour club soda over it and add saltThen repeat cleaning with soapy water
Jayson Brod: Towels and socks (hot)Colors (warm)Delicates (cold)Sheets (cold)Blankets (cold) - every other weekI sometimes do a load of black delicates so that the dye does not run on other clothes...Show more
Kelly Bistodeau: Heavy items and dark colours.Light weight items and light colours.Whites and delicates.Towels and Sheets (separarately)Mine is sort of a mixture of water temp, soiling level and fabrics.
Robin Tommie: i do on average 20 loads of laundry every week. this is how i do it.1. all whites that can handle bleach2. sheets, blankets, and colored towels3. dark darks4. shirts that i hang to dry5. mediums (like greys and pinks and other light colors)i wash all of my laundry in cold water so i do not have to worry about water temps....Sho! w more
Ty Kirton: Jaedenste... sorry I dont like the idea of washing underwear in cold water......hot water sanitizes things.....and I dont have to worry about wasting money or energy since I use the laundry mat
Shamika Schools: Jan is right neat dish soap is good to remove grease But if your sweater is made of wool don't use this It will soak in the wool and cause it to shrink when washed
Hollis Demasters: 1)darks including towels, delicates, etc2) lights including towels etc3)whites including towels etc4)all jeans.5) all beddingI wash on cold all the time unless I have a special necessity to do otherwise. My whites are always bright white, the colors never run unless one of the guys does laundry here they inevitably add a red sock to the whites now and then. I don't have laundry problems hardly at all and everything is always clean and smells great. I don't understand why people feel the need to use warm and hot water all the time. Its a waste of mone! y and energy....Show more
Oscar Wieland: Darks (cold)Lig! hts (warm)Whites (hot)Jeans and heavy sweaters (cold)Assorted (sheets, towels, pjs etc.) (warm)I also sort it by owner like who shares rooms, easier to put away and sort later):2 Parents (together)2 Sisters (together)2 Brothers (together)Oldest Brother (does his own lols)...Show more
Katheryn Skrobacki: Try scraping before you try dangerous chemicals. It won't be easy but scraping should remove it.
Malcom Fenoff: anyone know how to get a grease stain out of clothing. especially a sweater, I've tried everything I can think of soaking in oxyclean for one, and other things, but most people tell me forget it. nothing works. Maybe someone may have a tip. thanks
Denna Prudente: I go more by color as well, darks, lights, reds, browns, whites, towels, and sheets.
Margart Stimpert: I suggest you pour some Dawn dishwashing liquid on it.
Florencio Dingle: Try using just a regular old razor blade from home depot...It works...I am a custom painter and I! have seen this and had to deal with this on more than one occasion
Pearlie Medora: YOU STARTED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. SPRAY THE DRY ED ON CONCRETE WITH VINEGAR LET IT SOAK AND SPRAY IT SOME MORE LET THE VINEGAR DO ITS JOB THEN SCRAP WITH A RAZOR BLADE.
Monica Voltin: My carpet is a deep brown color and we have lots of blue spray paint on it. Windex seems to have lifted some of it. I have heard rubbing alcohol but currently have none to use. Maybe some carpet stain removers that could help? Thanks for suggestions!
Justin Casten: I sort them as follows1. whites this includes socks and underwear even with color in them 2. lights this includes everything in light color3. jeans this includes everything jean wise but black jeans4. darks this includes everything dark colored and black jeans5. towels this includes all our bed sheets and pillow cases6. reds and pinksi usually have about 12 loads of laundry a week but i wash only one mondays to save our electric b! ill so that is why i have so much wash.. I wash everything on cold but ! the whites and towels and sheets they get washed in warm or hot water......Show more
Lorine Helwick: Use a paint scraper.
Roselee Mczeal: I was washing the outside of my windows the other day and discovered that we had gotten concrete splashed on a couple of our windows when we were putting a rock border around the bottom of the house. I washed the windows with white vinegar and water and of course did not take it off, any idea of what I can use to get it off with? I think I have some hydrochloric acid around here, would that work?
Judie Kise: You can use a steam cleaner safely removing without putting pressure on the window.
Keven Drumgole: Firstly wet the cement stain. Slowly rub the affected area with the smooth side of a claybrick. This also works perfectly with cement stained toilet bowls.
Carolin Southers: Wet your windows with very soapy ammonia water. Then while they are wet, use a razor blade or a razor knife and scrape it off. Be su! re and keep the windows wet while doing this or you will scratch your windows. My husband and I did construction cleaning for years and this is the method we always used. It really works. Use about a cup ammonia to a bucket of water. Change water as needed....Show more
Asa Soho: You didn't tell us what it is made from. Wool, I'd take to dry cleaner and show them the spot. Otherwise I agree with Jan, Dawn. Rub it into the stain, let sit and then rinse with white vinegar. Problem is you've been working on the stain and may have set it. Give the detergents a chance. Another product you probably don't have handy is the hand cleaner used by mechanics......sorry don't know name (not sitting on my shelf either)...Show more
Janeen Perona: Acid may work but try a patch first! There is an acid based product called Cement-Away by a company called Lithofin that works a treat.
Charissa Bichsel: Try scraping it first, with a razor blade. If you don't have a ra! zor scraper, tape over one side of the blade, then push the blade paral! lel to the window, so the edge of the blade gets right under the concrete. It should flake off easily. If it's a large glob of concrete, use a paint scraper to get the worst of it off, then the razor blade for the final bits.
Arlen Decorte: I would use a sharp scraper or spatula, with a little force the blobs will release from the windows surface. If it is looking like its not wanting to move, add some water to soften it a bit.Goodluck !!
Letitia Bigelow: darks cold waterpinks/baby clothes warm waterwhites hot watertowels hot waterdelicates cold water
Wilmer Skidmore: I do a combination actually. For example, I would not wash shirts and jeans together but they would go in separate loads in cold water. I'd only wash the white underwear and socks in hot water, but I would probably bleach them first. Towels in hot alone, sheets in hot alone. Baby clothes would be washed separately in Dreft. PJs and colored undies could be washed together. Bras separate! ly in cold water on gentle. Oh what a lot of work.
Gaylord Barragan: Uhmmmm. I sort them like so....Colors (1 pile)Jeans (another pile)Whites (and the last pile)Just how I do it though....Show more
Shaun Rapkowicz: gently, with a chisel.
Rebbecca Sorkin: dark colors one pile , light pastel colors pile2,all whites 3rd pile and bedsheets for permanent press cycle last
Frederic Engellant: Do you have Preen products in your country? If so,they make a clothing degreaser which is very good.It is in a bright pink plastic spray in your laundry & cleaning aisle at the supermarket.
