Darrel Stele: Floors can be done for next to nothing in vinyl that looks like tile. They even make tiles that are vinyl square tiles that you can lay down yourself. New sink and fixtures and vanity can be bought at any home store for pretty cheap. If you can't afford the vanity you can paint the old one and you can paint the top of it. I did it and people are always asking if it's stone. You have to get the right primer and the right sealant, but it's easy after that. See if you can get the old mirror off and take it and get it framed. Updated for not a ton of money. Depending on the shower you may need to buy a new one. You might be able to have the tub resurfaced and then put up new green board and tile it. Just an idea. Would probably look better if you tiled the floor if you were going to do the shower. Or, just re-caulk around the old shower after giving it a really good scrub down and put up a new shower curtain. If the shower has doors, those can be r! emoved and the holes can be refilled and then sanded. Happy remodeling!...Show more
