Are video game doing bad?

Bennie Lantgen: Heck no. The community of gaming is an infinitely growing thing. While some of the larger gaming series probably will go extinct because you can't carry on something like that forever, the gaming industry will live through it. All the new games, that aren't sequels of sequels or anything like that, and look at how people love them.

Heidi Creselious: become extinct due to lack of ideas? no, not really. lots of game developers focus to much on multiplexer, thats why i like to play old skool games.dont worry about GTA 5, they focus more on exploration and missions.

Basil Blasingame: A series will only be good for so long, before it grows tired and weak. But, the Metal Gear Solid series is an exception to this, due to having something different in every game (how you play it), and the story is simply incredible (if complex at first glance).Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, Batman Arkham series, and ot! her games like these are relatively new, but they change things that can keep the video game industry going. Can you seriously call any game a sequel that rehashes a story, changes the font, and simply give new guns and crisper graphics... and enjoy it? Only a semi-conscious, sheltered person would enjoy repetition. But what makes game, in fact, good? People will say that there are only opinions of what good games are, but you have to look at the basic foundations that make a video game... a video game: Story, Character Design, Gameplay, Graphics, Technical Performance, Music, Sound, Content, and Replay Value. Genres are subjective, and are preferences t! o many people....Show more
